1st Prize Winner of the 2025 Washington International Competition (WIC) for Composition

My string trio “Hallow” will be performed by members of the Sunrise String Quartet on 5/25/25 at the Terrace Theater of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC. The panel of judges included composers Kevin Puts, Christopher Theofanidis, and Michael Torke. WIC is sponsored by the Friday Morning Music Club Foundation.

Premiere of Trio for Clarinet, Bassoon, & Piano (2024)

The Trans-Pacific Trio will premiere my work for clarinet, bassoon & piano in Michigan this coming Spring 2025. Finalized date and venue forthcoming. Trans-Pacific is comprised of clarinetist Colin Lord, bassoonist Maria Lord-Kniveton, and pianist Dianne Lord. The group was founded in 2011 and has performed across the United States and in Papua New Guinea. More information available at:

Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA (2025)

I’ve been recently accepted to Saint Joseph’s University to study clinical mental health counseling starting Fall 2025. This M.S. program also includes a certification in Drug & Alcohol Abuse Counseling, a field which I am very interested in. I am passionate about helping others who struggle with the disease of addiction, like me, and I’m excited to work with St. Joe’s Center for Addiction & Recovery Education (C.A.R.E.)
